    A complimentary buffet of fresh local tropical fruit, fresh baked muffins, cereals, toast and fruit juice is available for all guests from 7-10am.

    With tomato, cucumber, pumpkin seeds and a house vinaigrette dressing


    Traditional Fijian “kokoda” walu (fish)

    Marinated in coconut milk, lime, mint and a hint of locally grown red Fijian chilli


    A salad of green papaya, pineapple and cucumber salad

    With toasted cashew nuts and a tamarind caramel dressing


    Fresh Asian rice paper rolls

    Served with a Vietnamese dipping sauce

    Singaporean laksa noodle soup

    With pork belly and Asian greens


    Red snapper

    Marinated in lemongrass and ginger and cooked in banana leaves with almond pilaf rice and papaya salsa

    With caramelised onions, pickles, roast garlic aioli and tomato chutney

    Hãhã Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

    Intensely aromatic with a blend of passionfruit, gooseberry and lime zest on the nose. A burst of concentrated passionfruit and gooseberry flavours leads to superb fruit richness and a long textural mouth feel with a clean limey dry finish.


    Hãhã Marlborough Chardonnay

    Mouth filling, with citrus & tropical fruit, balanced by crisp acidity & refined minerality, full to medium bodied, rich flavours.


    Hãhã Marlborough Pinot Noir

    A dark ruby-red Pinot Noir, with full concentrated dark cherry, herb, and spice aromas. Juicy dark berry fruit flavours combine with rich savoury notes, and silky smooth texture with excellent weight, all lead to a very satisfying long clean finish. A luscious Pinot, perfect with lamb, beef, and grilled salmon.


    J Moreau Fils Cabernet Merlot

    A subtle hint of smoke on the nose, reminiscent of stone fruits. Soft and silky on the palate with notes of black cherry. Serve at a barbecue, or with pasta, roast chicken, and cheeses.

    Andre Delorme Blanc de Blanc

    This French Methode Traditionelle NV sparkling wine has a fine and lively bubble, golden yellow reflection, notes of citrus fruits, light and fresh and ideal for an aperitif or dessert.


    Andre Delorme Terroir d’Exception Blanc de Blanc Gold Label

    Rich, creamy sparkling wine showing obvious bottle age with attractive nutty yeast lees characters. Quite mouth filling and silken smooth. Long and satisfying sparkler in a sophisticated style.


    Crement D’Alsace Rose, France

    This Crement is made from the single grape Pinot Noir. The Crement D’Alsace Gustave Lorentz Rose is fresh and discreetly fruity, it inspires a host of gastronomic matches throughout the meal, from cold or warm starters, via seafood, white meats and game and finally some desserts.


    Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Brut, France

    Founded in 1772, Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label has been patiently aged in cellars in Reims, which date back to Roman times. A young yet rich, fruity yet layered and a bit narrow yet deep enough to be convincing. More than that, it impresses today for its foamy, mouth filling bubbles and long, lemony aftertaste.


    RED WINES


    Hãhã Marlborough Pinot Noir

    A dark ruby-red Pinot Noir, with full concentrated dark cherry, herb, and spice aromas. Juicy dark berry fruit flavours combine with rich savoury notes, and silky smooth texture with excellent weight, all lead to a very satisfying long clean finish. A luscious Pinot, perfect with lamb, beef, and grilled salmon.


    Waitiri Creek Pinot Noir, New Zealand 2007 and 2012

    The flavours of berry fruit, mocha and chocolate culminate in a long, spicy finish. Reasonably dense Pinot Noir with plenty of weight and an appealing slippery texture. Hints of spice and herbs add interest to red cherry and plum flavours. An elegant wine with more complexity than most of this vintage.


    J Moreau Fils Cabernet Merlot

    Cherry red in colour. A subtle hint of smoke on the nose, reminiscent of stone fruits. Soft and silky on the palate with notes of black cherry. Serve at a barbecue, or with pasta, roast chicken, and cheeses.


    Bodegas Aragonesas 2011 Coto de Hayas Crianza

    Superb nose of ripe dark fruit and vanilla, voluptuous and juicy on the palate brimming with blackberry and plum with an earthy savouriness and a gentle warming spice to finish. A great red, EVEN chilled!!


    SAUVIGNON BLANC


    Hãhã Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

    Kennedy Point Sauvignon Blanc

    This Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc has fresh aromas of wild flowers and citrus, and a nice balanced palate of passion fruit and pineapple; it has a dry finish and is a great match for salads, seafood and any right summer meal.


    Gladstone Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand 2009

    It’s tightly framed and restrained in style, displaying lime zest, grapefruit and gentle herbaceous characters on the nose. The palate is taut and racy with firm acidity and a lingering crisp finish. An elegant expression of Sauvignon with lovely fine texture and a lengthy finish.


    Forrest Estate Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand 2013

    One of the great Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc vintages – how can you get this any better? It’s classical with that distinctive nose of fresh herbs, nettles, guava, crushed red currant leaf and just a hint of passion fruit. The palate is full and textured, refreshingly crisp and “taut” with a lingering dry mineral after taste.


    Clark Estate Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand 2013

    Air New Zealand Gold Medal award winner. On the palate there is plenty of zest with herbaceous crushed herb and nettle characters combining wonderfully with layers of fresh lime and stone fruits. This is a classic Upper Awatere wine, displaying racy acidity that helps give this wine extraordinary length and class.

    Hãhã Marlborough Chardonnay

    Mouth filling, with citrus & tropical fruit, balanced by crisp acidity & refined minerality, full to medium bodied, rich flavours.


    Xanadu Chardonnay Australia 2010

    Winner of the Gold Medal – Royal Melbourne Wine Show 2013


    West Brook Chardonnay 2011

    Notes of nougat and freshly baked brioche. Luscious, yet refined – caught in a sanguine pose – a wine of languishing ripeness and the halcyon days of a Waimauku summer.


    PINOT GRIS


    Gustave Lorentz Pinot Gris, France 2008

    Established for the last two hundred and fifty years in the vine-growing area of the medieval city of Bergheim, the vineyard extends over the steeply sloping south face of the Grasberg hillock, at an altitude of between 220 and 320 metres. The rich and delicate aromas and full-bodied mouth are the characteristics of this wine combined with great length.
